Last Comic Standing Live Tour

Last Comic Standing is a fantastic show.  I first heard about the show while listening to Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio, but it wasn't until I stumbled upon some old clips of Josh Blue at Last Comic Standing that I fully appreciated what the show has to offer.  I think it's great that the show offers exposure for such a diverse group of talented comedians, and as good as the show is on TV, I think it'd be even better to experience the fantastic live comedy in person.

Kevin James Stand-Up

Kevin James has truly hit it big by becoming one of the hottest comedians on the circuit.  He was absolutely hilarious on The King of Queens and his stand-up routine is fantastic because he takes common events and makes them extremely funny.  He's from New York, and you've got to hear Kevin James on pizza and NY Delis!  I'd love to see Kevin James live, and I like the fact that he's not a one-hit wonder, because he's made millions of people laugh in a lot of different ways for quite a while now.

Rodney Carrington Stand-Up Comedy

Rodney Carrington is really, really funny, and I had no idea who he was until I stumbled upon some clips of youtube, like this one where Carrington discusses little things that piss him off. He's certainly found his niche as he entertains sold-out crowds throughout North America, and he's especially popular near his residence of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I'd love to see Rodney Carrington's comedy show live and in person, because I think he'd be even funnier in person than he is on the radio or the TV.  What are your thoughts about Rodney Carrington?

Regis Philbin Live Performances

Regis Philbin has enjoyed an amazing career, and in fact the immortal entertainer holds the Guinness World Record for most "hours on camera"!  Regis Philbin has been extremely successful on a variety of television programs, but millions of people remember him best like this, with Shania Twain on the Regis and Kathy Lee Show. Regis Philbin is always on the go and he's still performing live around the country. Did you like Regis better with Kathie Lee Giford or with Kelly Ripa?

The Smothers Brothers Comedy Tour

The Smothers Brothers have been popular for more than 50 years, and they're still knocking audiences dead like they did when they first got started in show business.  You can see vintage Smothers Brothers with Craig Ferguson on Ferguson's Late, Late Show, and the hilarious duo is still entertaining all over the country.  I first saw them in the 1980's doing stand-up comedy, and I always liked how the brothers flowed off of each other.  The Smothers Brothers are the longest-running live comedy team in history, having celebrated 50 years together in 2008! So Congratulations Tom and Dick Smothers!

Steve Harvey 2009 Comedy Tour

Steve Harvey has enjoyed a sensational career as an actor, radio personality and stand-up comedian.  The Kings of Comedy Tour he co-starred on took North America by storm, and I'm not sure there was a more popular set of box office tickets anywhere in the country.  What makes Steve Harvey so successful is his ability to merge humor with real life situations; it was shocking and sad to see Bernie Mac pass away in 2008 but his funeral was proof that Steve Harvey is a master of the moment.  Check out Steve Harvey at the funeral of Bernie Mac. How high do you rank Steve Harvey among today's comedians?

Margaret Cho Live Performances

Margaret Cho is a very funny comedian who's very popular among the Gay and Lesbian community despite the fact that her material often centers on homosexuals.  She claims she's bisexual herself, which is why it's common to see Margaret Cho making gay men jokes.  I've never seen Margaret Cho in person, but I'd like to, and I have no problems with her humor or with the topics she pokes fun at.  She's either telling the truth or she's not, so why get all upset over a joke?
