Look out the Nittany Lions are headed back to the Rose Bowl on January 1 2009. It would be hard to call the 2008 a total failure unless your only goal was to compete for the National Championship. Joe Paterno "Jo Pa" as hes affectionately referred to has led the Penn State Nittany Lions to another bowl game and this is a good one. The Rose Bowl has been called the grandaddy of them all and it suites this classic college football program. Paterno led the Nittany Lions to a 38-20 victory in their last Rose Bowl appearance back in 1995 for the 1994 season finishing undefeated. Get there early and enjoy all that Pasadena has to offer including the famous tournament of roses parade. This is one of college footballs greatest games year in and year out for the other bowl games as they become available check back often. "We are Penn State" is the chant that rings thru the hallowed confines of Beaver Stadium.
