The date is set for May 2nd in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena 2009. Ricky the "Hitman" Hatton vs Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. This is going to be a huge matchup and if history is any predictor of the future fans from the UK will jump at the chance to cross the pond and head to Vegas chanting the Ricky Hatton song all the way here.
With the addition of Mayweather Sr. in his corner Hatton looked like a different fighter in his last match. He looked way more complete as a fighter in stead of just a puncher as he had in the past. Now moving onto Pacquiao his last fight vs De La Hoya was a joke and he had his way with this has been fight and should move onto to something challenging like Hatton.
